Founder of Tour Pacific
Bringing Oceania and Indian Ocean to Sweden!
With two empty hands, no clients and no suppliers, Lars started the company that got the name Tour Pacific in 1993. The business idea was to bring Swedish tourists to the South Pacific, New Zealand and Australia.
Being the leading Australia specialist back then, Lars ventured out to the youth market when he decided to start Work & Travel Company 2001, which was sold 12 years later.
Lars now focussed on the luxury end of the market and in 2010 Indian Ocean was introduced in the Tour Pacific portfolio. The company managed to live through the pandemic and was in 2024 sold to Intoit Travel Group.
In 2024 Lars stepped down as CEO and in 2026, 33 years after the start, Lars left the company.
